What I offer
UX research /discovery planning & execution
- Creating a UX research / discovery plan that all stakeholders and team mates can get behind. I work collaboratively with the team to reach an alignment in the objectives and the scope. I focus on reaching a shared understanding of what we hope to achieve with each piece of research.
- Each piece of research comes with a clear summary of learnings. It also comes with a list of suggested action items and priorities that follow from what we learned. This allows for traceable design decisions as well.
Qual & quant data
- Using a product approach, I help my team formulate assumptions and hypotheses, and then I select the most appropriate methods for verifying those hypotheses based on the task at hand and the available resources.
- I design and execute mixed methods studies that incorporate both qualitative and quantitative data.
- I help instrument product and UX metrics to ensure that we are tracking the right metrics to inform our decisions.
Iterative concept development & prototyping
- Creative concept development for UX, UI and service design. I love working collaboratively with others and facilitating cross-functional teamwork to create innovative and effective concepts.
- Prototyping and testing at all fidelity levels from paper mockups to fully-functional prototypes with connected hardware.
UI design ops
- UI design operations work involves improving the connection between UI design, development, and QA. A smooth and efficient communication between these roles helps to deliver high quality products. I implement best practices for design-to-dev delivery and train my colleagues on how to improve their process.
- I have experience building design systems from scratch and maintaining them.
Design process ownership
As a designer with a systematic approach, I take ownership of the entire design process when a project comes to life. There are many steps from setting objectives and planning research to implementing the validated concepts. I navigate complex domains of expertise and make sure that all aspect of the process that can influence the product quality are taken care of.

Voice Recordings Management Tool
Laerdal, 2020
A medical simulator is a scene with a few characters: a patient, a doctor or a nurse, perhaps a relative. They act and they talk. All this talking makes up thousands of audio files that need be verified, localized and managed.
After researching into an optimal process, I created a no-code solution that took care of this process while improving the way the metadata is handled.
I built a no-code MVP using three common off-the-shelf services. It has proved that it's possible to assemble a custom workflow in a no-code way. In the time when there's no resources to look into an internal tool like this one, no-code is a great way to try out.

Imagine: tracking app for psoriasis patients
Leo Innovation Lab, 2017
In 2017 I got a chance to join Leo Innovation Lab for a few weeks to support the lead designer of Imagine — an app for tracking the effectiveness of your psoriasis treatment.
Together with the lead designer of the app we worked on a set of new features. We combined user testing of the prototypes with in-depth interviews. We gathered feedback on the early ideas for several new features and explored different navigation options.

Approach
My approach to work is proactive, analytical and strategic minded.
Faced with a design problem, my first instinct is to deeply understand its nuances and explore several possible solutions, looking broadly beyond potential UI features.
I prioritize identifying the underlying needs and objectives and focus on developing solution concepts that can be validated.
To ensure that product decisions can be traced back to their origins in assumptions, hypotheses, objectives and constraints, I work together with the team to align on these things and document them. I consolidate my findings from strategic, formative and evaluative research into well-structured records, empowering my team to leverage them in the future.
I see design broadly, and with my growth mindset I'm flexible in my role scope and skillset. Writing is design. Video content is design. Business model is design. Data instrumentation is design. Marketing communication is design. All of these things are parts of the product, and all of them impact the user experience.
